Tucson Icon
The Tucson Icon is an unofficial symbol designed for the community and city of Tucson, Arizona (USA). The form contains three elements: a saguaro, a letter initial T, and a mountain visible within the negative space. Tucson is surrounded by 5 mountain ranges and the saguaro cactus is exclusively native to the Sonoran Desert region, where the city dwells. The work was created by graphic designer and local resident, Alex Parisi.
